**Deck The Halls**

It's amazing how fast the season seems to pass by! I remember as a child how things would seem to last forever and the older i get the faster things go by in a big blur. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas filled with joy and love! The pictures below are from my family's annual Christmas party which is one of my favorite Christmas traditions :)
Does anyone else see a theme here??? I knew my cousins and I had the same taste in clothes but this was just classic! We couldn't help but take a photo of us all matching it was just so funny!!! (Angie, Me, Michelle, Erika)

The Many Faces of Rock Band!!!
I just had to post these pictures of Preston. He is loves playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero...but we don't have one yet, so he plays at everyone else's homes. After taking pictures at one party I decided to keep a "photo log" of all the different places he played these games over the holiday!!! (He seems to favor the drums)

At the Elder Quorum's Christmas Party...

At his brothers house on Christmas Eve...

At my family's Christmas Party...

*There were two other parties that he played at but I didn't have my camera...but you get the idea ;)

Christmas Time Has Come

Tis the Season! Happy Holidays everyone, hope your season is wonderful! Preston and I have been busy with the holidays, going to parties, concerts and Church activities. The picture is from last week when we went to The Forgotten Carols with my parents, this was the 16th time we have gone to it! Micheal McLean and my parents are very good friends, every year my dad waits in the line to talk with Micheal and is always one of the last in line so we can talk to him. Well this year just like every other we waited an hour after the show to go and say hi to Micheal and tell him how great the show was this year. Micheal jumped out of his seat to say hi to his "Roy Guys" and give us all hugs, we started talking and long story short Micheal McLean invited us to stay with him at his home in Malibu !! Wow, talk about feeling like rock stars he then gave my dad his personal email and his cell number!!! It's not Christmas till we go see The Forgotten Carols and this year was wonderful. For those of you who have never seen it I so highly recommend it to everyone!!! Let's remember why we celebrate this time of year, I am so grateful for all my blessings!

Preston and I at The Spaghetti Factory in Salt Lake...we always eat there before going to The Forgotten Carols (tis tradition ya know!)

My Husband the Helicopter Pilot

While my sister and her family were down here for Thanksgiving we went to the helicopter school to see Preston fly and take a fun tour of the little airport. It was so neat to see him fly, I hear about it everyday when he gets home but I have never seen my actually do it. The little kids had soo much fun watching their uncle and they even got to sit inside and the helicopter and shoot the "guns" (there aren't any guns in the helicopters but when you are 5 that seems to be the best part). We got to stand out by the hanger and watch Preston take off and then he did some maneuvers for us (like killing the motor) and then he came in and landed right in front of us. I am just so proud of him, he is working so hard and is going to solo this week!!!
Emory, RaeLee and I waiting for Preston to finish ground school so we could watch him flyEmory shooting the "guns"Here he is my husband the helicopter pilot!!! :)

Thanksgiving Fun!

I know you might all think you have the best family out there, but I am here to inform you that you are wrong! I have the best family out there! :) I just love the holidays and being able to hang out with our family's and enjoy all the wonderful traditions together. Thanksgiving was great this year we were able to spend a day with my family and a whole day with Preston's (his mom has Thanksgiving on Saturday so the families don't have to share us). Anyways, Thanksgiving was perfect and the food was yummy! :)

These are my two aunts and my cousin Rachel who accidentally burnt some of our home made rolls, and guess who took all of them home...why Preston of course!
