{Goodbye...}

Dear Skinny Body,

I will miss you.

I have put you on loan for the next 9 months to a tiny little one. I just wanted to say goodbye for now but I promise not to add too much to you and I also promise to get you back the second I can. I will always remember our size 0 pants, the hours spent in the gym, the protein drinks, the health food, running till I couldn't anymore, the weights, the sweat and tears, and the happiness of always fitting into the "skinny jeans".

And let us just remember this one thing..."IT"S ALL FOR THE CAUSE!" and it's so going to be worth it!!!

One last look at the way we were :(

P.S.
The BUMP is going to look soooo good on you!!!

{ It's Christmas BABY! }

Preston and I received the greatest gift this year for Christmas and are ecstatic to announce that we are having a BABY!!!

We are 8 weeks along and are due August 10th. Of course we are adding another baby into the mix of the already biggest month for birthdays in my family lol! We have a 5 day window in order not to have a double birthday =) so fingers crossed that this little one will have a day all it's own.

I haven't been sick at all and other than being overwhelmingly tired that is all the symptoms I have had. Preston is very excited to be a dad and I am a little freaked out but we couldn't be happier to be parents!

We found out on the 5th of December and have kept it a secret from everyone but the Grandparents all month so that I could tell all my family on the 26th at our Christmas party (I wanted my family to know first). So I am happy to finally be able to shout it from the roof tops! =)

I have to tell how we told the family (because I can and it was cute)! I had my mom and dad in on it so they were able to help. So what we did was stage a picture, my dad has a nice camera and we had him and my mom asking to take a big picture of everyone. So my mom went around and gathered up all my girl cousins and aunts and told them we wanted to take a picture of all us girlies (way too many in one picture to add the boys too). And then my dad was going to take the picture. So I had my dad (prepped him before hand) take several shots, on the first couple it was say "Merry Christmas" and then "Happy Holidays" and so on for a couple more until the family was getting restless and then he said ok one more. Then he said very loudly so everyone could here... "Everyone say Tara's Pregnant!" and of course everyone repeated it without thinking and then they started getting it and got excited! It was fun to tell them this way and even though it was had to keep secret for so long it ended up being really fun!

So here are the pictures of my family when they said Tara's pregnant, I think it was really fun to have their expressions caught on camera!

One before the announcement

Right when my dad said "Say Tara's Pregnant" only a couple got it =)

Now they get it! So funny watch all the faces!

{ Forgotten Carols }

My family has been going to see The Forgotten Carols for 18 years! It is our number 1 Christmas tradition. It isn't ever really Christmas time till we see it every year. Preston has been coming for the last 6 years himself so he is well into the tradition too! I was looking at my pictures and noticed that some of my favorite pictures of us are from those nights. So, I decided to add the last 3 years since we have been married of us enjoying our tradition (I guess that's all I have on my computer, although I know each year has been documented)!
