{Craziness}

Ok so I have been neglecting my blog lately, wish I had a good excuse but really just haven't come on here. Until today and I looked at my baby counter and I don't know if you are aware of this or not but I realized I only have 39 days to go!!! AHHHHH 

So I had a panic attack and my sister had to talk me off a cliff (thanks sis) but really honestly I totally freaked out! How in the heck did it get sooo low??? Maybe it's a math thing for me but seriously didn't realize that I have like no time and oh geez about 2,000 things to get done. By Monday. Or sooner. Because I'm not ready for him yet!!! I told my sister that I wouldn't cry so I won't but the tears are at the brim people! So finally getting on here and blogging is one of the things on my list and I also promised Heather that I would today. So there will be lots of pictures and I won't cry. Promise.

We went to the Dr. yesterday to have our last ultrasound, wish I had some cute pictures of him to post on here but he is a little stinker and has gotten himself good and stuck very low (head down) so we couldn't get any good pictures of him. We even were shaking my belly to try and get him to move, but he wasn't having any of that! Some very good news is that he has a ton of hair!! YAY! I'm so not used to bald babies so it is a big deal to me lol. He is very healthy and I am doing fantastic! I have nothing to complain about and am having a wonderful pregnancy with no problems what so ever. So other then freaking out with getting "ready" for him everything is great! YAY!

A couple weeks ago I had my first baby shower! Thanks to my sister and my parents, they worked hard to make it perfect for me! I'm very loved.....or maybe Paxton is lol. Thank you very much either way! It was perfect!  It was so fun and the boy got spoiled. So here are a bunch of pictures of all the fun!

(My dad took a ton more but I haven't gotten them yet, I will add them when I do!)

So there's lots more to post about but I just spent like over an hour trying to get these pictures on here and that stressed me out. So I will try and post again this weekend about Bear Lake and all my craftasticness that I have been doing!

{Growing BOY}

It's been a while since I've updated again and I'm sorry that so many of these posts are all of my growing belly but I have to finish what I started ;)  Everything is going well and we are getting closer and closer, I can't believe how fast the time is going by! It's going faster then I thought it would and am feeling the nerves setting in. It has been made known to me that this little guy has to "come out" and that terrifies me!! So not ready to do that yet! BUT  it's not like I have a lot of say in the matter. So I guess I am going to have to just suck it up and do it *sigh*. 

At least in the meantime I can distract myself by obsessively taking pictures of my ever growing belly ;)

There you go another 3 weeks of bump love! A lot of people have been telling me that I'm really small so I asked our Dr. last week after he took my measurements and this is what he told me. "Tara, you are NOT small. You are big!" Not exactly the things a girl likes to hear :/ So I guess I am measuring about a week ahead of schedule. Go Figure.

And just so I don't kill you with all the baby bump shots here is a picture of our awesome cheery tree that's in our backyard! I love when it blooms in the spring. So pretty.

And while I was in the backyard snapping this picture of the tree a little something caught my eye that I hadn't noticed sitting back there all these years.

 Look. At. This.

Glorious aren't they? Of course they won't stay red since that color isn't allowed in our house but I'm thinking white washed and some cute vinyl saying on them!!! Hung over our TV maybe or even better our bed! Oh the craftasticness!

Speaking of craftastic things my sister in law Haylee gave us this awesome hutch/armoire to use in Paxton's room which was EXACTLY what I had been looking for. I was going to take a pic and show you but Preston already dismantled it so I could start painting it (black of course). I still haven't started any of my craftastic projects yet which is maybe why I am so annoyed that the time is going by so quickly. I blame it on the horrible weather which doesn't allow me to paint anything outside. Grrr.

{Ohh the Choices}

Are ya sick of looking at pictures of my bump?!  Well toooooo bad because I love it and frankly I might be a little obsessed with it lol. I could take pictures of my belly everyday so your lucky I only do it weekly. So here is my updated bump watch...

Ok the other thing I am obsessed with is baby photographers. Here's the deal these newborn pictures are once in a life time just like your wedding, so they have to be AWESOME right? Yes I am right. And not that I don't love my wedding photos but I always am saying that I wished I would've gone with a different style and am jealous of all the ones I see now. Hindsight is always 20/20 I guess. So not wanting to have the same feeling with Paxton's newborn pictures I have been looking at baby photographers for nearly a year now trying to find one with a style that I LURVE!

Now that I am getting close I am trying to decide between a couple of photographers that I have been watching/stalking for the last year or so and unless I can convince Preston that we need 2 or more photographers for just Paxton's newborn pics I'm going to have to make a choice. This is were YOU come in!  =)

Brittany G Photography:

 This photographer has been one of my favorites for the longest. You can go to her blog here and the website here (go under galleries and select newborns) and see the kind of style she does. I really love the black and whites with mom dad and baby so no matter who I go with I am getting some of those to put on canvas ALL over my house! I also am a vintage obsessed person so I LURVE the ones that look like the photo is old. Like I said top of my list for over a year.

Peekaboo Photography:

Ok this one is new to my LURVE list but wow are they a contender!! I recently found them and now I am obsessed/stalking them on their blog, on FB and their website (go to galleries and look under newborns) Are you dying yet?! I am hyperventilating right now!!!

She has good ones too! Argh this is sooo hard, look at her galleries under newborns here and look at those darling babies!

{Bump Update}

21 WEEKS

He's getting bigger, as of today we have 120 days left AHHHH! But seriously we are SO excited to have him =) We still haven't decided on a middle name for him yet so if you have any suggestions please help us out. Everything is going well and I feel awesome. We are in full "preparation" mode, me a little bit more crazy about it then Preston but that's ok ;)

{The Bump + Nursery Goodies}

Here is my bump shot for 20 WEEKS
Looks like my little man is getting bigger! I love having a baby bump and finding cute clothes to show it off ;)

Alrighty now to some FUN baby stuff!!!
Here is a little snap shot of some of the magic that will become Paxton's nursery!

OK Here's a little run down of some of the things I am doing in the nursery (This is my new addiction, since I have been waiting for a room that I could go crazy in and decorate my heart out!)

All the frames and the big P will be modge podged along with the shadow box that I need to figure out something crafty with. Like so:


The barn star you see in the picture above will be transformed into this:

The crochet needles and yarn (I am taking a crochet class with a lady in my ward) will be made into little wonders like these:




The B+W fabric you see is going to become my nursing cover..instead of buying one for $45 I am making them with my mom for like $10 AWESOME!

The little helicopter on top of the football is there to represent an idea I got to use vintage tin helicopter toys and make a sort of mobile and hang it above my chair in the nursery. A little tribute to his helicopter pilot daddy ;) Sorry it's a little hard to picture but when I have the nursery done you will see what I mean. Here's some helicopters on ebay that look like what I want to use:



Of course there will be tributes to baseball by way of Boston Red Sox baseballs and apparel and also some footballs will be added!


If you can't tell from the picture these will be the colors..I would like to add some green in there too if I can find some crib bedding with blue, green and brown I would be in heaven! ;)

I will buy this once he is here of course but it is the cutest canvas:

I have found the stuff at Roberts to make this I just haven't gotten it yet and of course with Paxton's name instead lol ;)

And one last thing for the momma, which is MEEEE!!! Say hello to my love the cutest diaper bag in the world, I literally am drooling!



W O W that was long! And there's even more but I guess I should pace myself lol! Anyways it will be sooooo cute when I'm done and don't worry if it doesn't all fit together in your head because it's amazing once you see what I see!

Ohhhh and sorry I had to add these. My sister gave me all of Emory's clothes and they are just piled in the "nursery" till I can go through them all. Here is Squeaker being a stinker ;)
