New Job!!!

I just got hired as the new MANAGER of my gym Anytime Fitness!!! I am so so excited for this job. It's a good fit for me because I am so obsessed with fitness and health, and one of the main reasons they hired me was because I practically live there already. My whole life focuses on being healthy (just ask Preston, sometimes I go a little nuts!) Some of you might ask how this goes with a Family Studies degree...well I want to be a life coach with a focus on adolescents battling obesity. So, this job gets me into the industry and gives me some experience that's more than just my own. So, wish me luck I start Tuesday :) I will let you all know how it goes. :)

Twilight

Preston won't be very excited about this blog, but I had to do it! I am a huge Twilight fan, I LOVE LOVE LOVE those books! As much as I love them I'm not to sure if I want to watch the movie that's coming out because it is so perfect in my head and nothing can come close to how I have everything pictered. However, today I was blog surfing and found this...maybe it won't be so bad. I'm not totally won over yet but this does spark my interest just a bit. What do you guys think? It gave me goosebumps!!!

Eternal Bliss!

On Saturday May 10th Preston and I were sealed together for all eternity in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. It was the best day of our lives other than our wedding day. The temple is so amazing, I am so excited and blessed to be able to attend them now, and I am ready to go Temple hop'n! Our sealing was beautiful and all our Friends and family came to support us. The road we took to get there wasn't easy in fact it was very hard and seemed like forever, but the blessings we have received are innumerable. The month before we were sealed we were asked to speak in our ward and in stake conference, being able to feel the spirit continually throughout the month was wonderful. I am so happy to be sealed to my husband for eternity! He is the very essences of me, I love him so much that I don't even have the words. I know that I can handle anything with him at my side forever!

Champions of the World!

Ok, so maybe not the world but definitely Young Womens basketball CHAMPIONS of the Davis Region. For those of you who don't know I (Tara) am the Young Womens Sport Director (Coach) for my ward. My girls went undefeated ALL season and won the Championship game 30-27! WA HOO!!! And not to mention that there are only 6 girls that did all this! It's such a fun calling and I love the girls so much. They are so awesome I had to post and say how amazing these girls are!I do just have to say that for someone who has never coached a team and has never played basketball in my entire life, going undefeated and winning the championship isn't half bad if I do say so myself!

Sorry this isn't the best picture but I had to post it anyway! Way to go girls!!!

1 Year Anniversary

Today is our 1 year anniversary, and on the 16th will be five years together. I had to take a minute and get sappy about how much I love Preston, he is the most amazing, wonderful husband in the world. I am so blessed to be his compainion and spend my life and the eternities with him. I remember the first time I saw him and I knew right then that he was the man I was going to spend my life with before I even knew his name. He is my best friend and the love of my life. I am so excited to see what the years will bring us. I love you Preston, this has been the most amazing year and I know that they will only get better and our love will only become stronger and deeper.

Introducing Boston & Sox

These are our new kittens! Preston and I adopted them last week from the humane society, I have been lonely at home now that I am graduated from school and I have been wanting a pet to keep me company while Preston is working. So, as an early anniversary present we got these sweet kittens. If you can't guess we named them after the Boston Red Sox (Huge Fanatics!) Boston is the completely black one he is 10 months and Sox is the black and white one and she is 5 months old.

We went to the humane society because we wanted to save some lives, since the really small kittens go fast we wanted to give these two a chance. The shelter told us that Boston didn't really stand a chance because people don't want black cats (superstitions) he also wasn't the most affectionate cat there. So, Preston and I felt like he deserved to be loved and happy and as it turns out he is the sweetest, loving kitten. They were in the same kennel together and have been together for a month so they are good friends. They love eachother and you can always catch them snuggling or playing together. They seem really happy and we love them so much!!! We are so happy that we resuced them, they complete us.

Here are some pictures of our babies.
